What is dash diet?

Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension, or DASH, is a diet that is suggested for those who want to lower their risk of heart disease and prevent or treat hypertension, often known as high blood pressure. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean meats are the main components of the DASH diet. One of the key ways this diet may help persons with high blood pressure, according to scientists, is by lowering their salt intake.

Dash diet can not just be compared with any other diet rather it is a diet plan that lowers blood pressure and help in managing heart health. Many studies have shown that this diet have proven in lowering blood sugar level and LDL which is bad cholesterol, both the major reason for heart disease.

Following this diet is not a big deal because it mainly focuses on the diet which should include fruits and vegetables. Dash diet should be rich in nuts and seeds. This diet includes whole grain food and also fats that is good for heart. This may also include some low fat and non-fat dairy as well as lean meat products. Chicken and fish can be the best example for the above mentioned information. On the basis of the need of calories, different serving sizes or amounts are recommended for different different food items or products in this diet.

This study was named as dash study from this study the dash diet was introduced to us, and before it would have come to us, two trials were taken between 1993 and 1997, After which the dash diet came into existence and became one of the most convenient diets helping in diabetes and many more heart diseases. Firstly it was popular in the USA only, and it was preferred by US doctors only but because of its several benefits it has been started prefer by many professional doctors and specialists around the world, and it is also preferred because it is convenient and the food supplements which are coming under this diet are easily available.

What is the role of dash diet?

Dash diet includes foods such as fruits, vegetables etc. Which are high in nutrients, carbs, proteins and minerals, which help in lowering the sodium level in body and also helps in lowering the blood sugar circulation making it one of the best diet during diabetes and many more heart diseases, and it does not include food supplements which are very expensive or not easily available. This diet can be followed by anyone in any place and the food requirements of these diet are easily available to most of the places in the world making it a budget friendly and home friendly diet which a person can follow his whole life.

which are not very expensive and are easy to buy, which contain a lot of nutrients which help our body in many situations, and it lowers down the high blood pressure helping more than millions and millions of people to cure diabetes and many heart diseases making it the best companion of patients to cure there disease, and it can be used by normal healthy people also to stay fit and active all the life and be free from the junk food present in our surroundings and because of these consequences these diet has become one of the best diet preferred by doctors, and it is also the one of the three diets which is preferred by us dietary guidelines.
